Community groups can apply for funding of up to £250. Applications are open to groups based in the Cambridge area and which comprise mainly of volunteers, and funding is provided for a specific project.Recipients of awards from the last round include the Friends of the Grove Association (supporting The Grove School, Arbury) who used the money to buy a storysack library for the children, and the Minorities Ethnic Network for the Eastern Region (Menter), who are now able to support funding for a sports programme on 209 Community Radio.
