ECD man charged for killing mother of 3

first_imgThe 35-year-old man who stabbed the mother of his three children to death in August at Victoria Village, East Coast Demerara (ECD) was on Thursday arraigned for the heinous crime.Clive WilsonClive Wilson, a pork-knocker of Montrose, ECD, appeared before Magistrate Fabayo Azore at the Vigilance Magistrate’s Court and was not required to plead to the indictable charge.The charge detailed that on August 25, 2019 at Victoria Village, he murdered Shamain Frank.It was reported that on the day in question, the suspect was seen entering the 27-year-old woman’s yard, but was ordered by the victim’s brother to leave the premises because of the abuse his sister had suffered at Wilson’s hands.Murdered: Shamain FrankThe brother of the deceased woman had related to investigators that shortly after, he heard screams, and went to his sister’s aid.Upon checking, the woman was discovered with a stab wound to her left breast lying in a pool of blood.It is believed that the suspect gained entry to the house by removing three louvre panes. After committing the act, the suspect reportedly departed through a back door, which was discovered open.The suspect and the victim were reportedly engaged in an argument when she was attacked and fatally stabbed.The injured woman was taken to the Georgetown Public Hospital, where she was pronounced dead on arrival. After committing the act, the man went into hiding.The couple had recently rented an apartment at Mon Repos, ECD, but because the abuse had continued, Frank had returned to the home she had shared with her siblings.The accused was remanded to prison, and he was ordered to make his next court appearance on November 26, 2019.last_img
