Yes, we’re gearing up for Week 3, but East Carolina University is already headed to Florida.ECU canceled its Week 3 matchup against No. 12 Virginia Tech this weekend due to the hurricane. Now, the Pirates are headed to South Florida for the team’s matchup against the Bulls on September 22.That’s according to an ECU spokesman. The Pirates sank the Tar Heels by a final score of 41-19 despite entering the game as an underdog.ECU and Virginia Tech differed on the approach to cancel the game.
